MOMENTUM RUNNING

Empower Speed run by coach Fia Fighera runs two training squads. The Junior Development Squad, for ages 7–12  is designed for beginners to developing athletes, from those with no previous experience through to school and Little Athletics competitors. Training focuses on developing sprint technique, speed, coordination, agility and overall athletic ability. The program aims to improve speed and confidence while building strong athletic foundations that support future development and performance.

The Competition & Senior Squad, for ages 12+, caters for developing, competitive and senior athletes. The group is suited to athletes competing at school, club, state or higher levels, as well as field and court sport athletes looking to improve their speed and athletic performance. Training focuses on acceleration, max velocity, sprint mechanics, speed endurance and race preparation.

Athletes follow structured pre-season and in-season programming designed to develop performance, achieve PBs and prepare for competition, while supporting continued progression throughout their athletic journey.

FIA FIGHERA

Fia is an Australian 200m sprinter who understands the discipline, consistency and commitment required to excel in sprinting at a national level. With a background as an Athletics Australia Running Coach and Sprint Coach, combined with her qualifications as a Personal Trainer, Fia provides athletes with a comprehensive, results-driven approach to developing speed, power and performance.

Fia is passionate about helping athletes across all sports increase their speed by mastering sprint mechanics, improving acceleration, and developing explosive power. Fia works closely with up-and-coming sprinters, team sport athletes and competitors looking to gain a performance edge, building confidence while unlocking their full athletic potential.
