VICTORIAN THROWS SQUAD
Victorian Throws Squad, coached by Emma Werner, specialises in rotational throwing events and supports athletes at every level, from beginners to those pursuing national and international success. The squad includes juniors, seniors, and masters, offering a welcoming environment for athletes transitioning from school or Little Athletics, or returning to the sport later in life.

EMMA WERNER
Emma Werner is an Australian hammer thrower, athletics coach, and Health and Physical Education teacher based in Victoria. Competing for Foundry Athletic, she has represented Australia on the Oceania stage, earning silver and bronze medals in the hammer throw, and has since gone on to claim Masters Oceania gold.
Alongside her own competitive career, Werner has coached for SSV Para athletics since 2019 and served as an ALAC coach in 2026, helping guide athletes across both mainstream and para pathways. She mentors women in sport as part of her broader commitment to the sport's growth.
