Jells Park Relays 2025 - XRC Round 3 Recap

Jells Park Relays were back for Round 3 of XRC, and what a day it was! A huge shoutout to all our Hunters who braved the chilly Melbourne weather to take on the 6km or 3km course alongside their teammates. 15 teams competed from U14 teams through to 60+ teams with great spirit and effort displayed!

It was fantastic to see a mix of new and returning Hunters out on the course. Welcome to all the new members joining us for XRC this winter—we're stoked to have you on board!

A big thank you to life members Tony Doran and Doug Adeney for volunteering as helpers on the day.

Women’s 40+ 3x6km – STATE CHAMPIONS

This powerhouse trio dominated the course and claimed the state title with commanding performances. Incredible job!

Fastest Split of the Day – Ed Marks: 17:22

Ed once again showed why he’s one of the best, putting the Premier Men’s team in a prime position with the day’s fastest split. He set the pace in leg one, with the team ultimately finishing a strong 5th. Solid run, boys!

U18 Girls – Bronze Medalists

This talented trio—aged 17, 11, and 14—took on the U18 race and came away with bronze. Amazing effort from such a young and dynamic team!

A fantastic result for our youngest relay team! These boys showed maturity beyond their years to secure a podium finish.
